The Inception:
Higher Dimensions Photography started out as an idea by Nick Baker and Sergio Furer. We wanted to start a photography business which took all the skills and accomplishments we experienced in life, and transformed these experiences into great bodies of work. Our goal is to create everlasting images that take our every day perception to a higher way at looking at the world around us. Photography is a window into the world around us; the great thing about photography is that you can hold an image in time for ever. We want to hold your precise moments in time, so that you can relive them at any time and place. One of the great things about Higher Dimension Photography is that you always get two amazing photographers for all events. This allows us to get more photographs of your very important event and gives your pictures more perspective.
The Photographers:
Sergio Furer (sfurer) was born in Argentina Buenos Aires. Sergio has been a photographer for 8 years he studied photography at a small tech school in Ft. Lauderdale FL, Mcfatter Technical Institute. In 2006 Sergio studied with Marcos Furer who is a professional photographer in Argentina and also Sergio’s Brother. Argentina is where Sergio transformed his knowledge from film to digital, working with Marcos Furer in great detail. Sergio has mostly photographed weddings, family portraits, parties and events. He recently moved to Boulder Colorado to photograph the breathtaking landscapes and beauty of Colorado. Sergio uses a Canon 20d SLR to Photograph his subjects.
Nick Baker (nbake) is a knowledgeable self taught photographer who has the eye to create great photographs. He was born in North Carolina and graduated from NC State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has been interested in taking photographs since he was a small boy when he helped develop film with his father in their laundry room turned darkroom. He moved to Boulder, Colorado in 2007 and has been photographing this beautiful state ever since. His engineering background allows him to photograph any subject with great technical understanding and detail. Nick uses a Nikon D300 SLR to Photograph his subjects.
